My thoughts: This was a light, fun read. While I admit that I don’t religiously follow tennis, I do occasionally watch it and have been to the US Open. I loved that Daisy Jordan included a tennis cheat-sheet at the beginning of the book – the scoring of tennis always baffles me! – and as I read the book, I frequently flipped back to reference it. What I liked about this book is that it reminds you that anything can happen…as in the case of Hilton. She’s on a fabulous trip, taking pictures – her hobby and profession – when one of her pictures not only gets her some money, it steers her towards a dream-come-true! The book was well-written with life-like characters. It was as if I was on the tour with Hilton and the tennis players or out at the clubs with Hilton and her friends. It’s clear from reading this book that Daisy Jordan knows and loves tennis!

About the author: Daisy Jordan is an obsessive tennis fan and wrote Love Means Zero, in which Hilton gets a job as a photographer for a tennis magazine, so she could live out her dream-job fantasy through Hilton. But don’t worry if you’re not a tennis fan; Love Means Zero still has all the drama and suspense of Daisy’s previous books! Those books include Everything Happens for a Reason…, the Spin the Bottle series, and All That Sparkles Isn’t Real Sapphire. Before she published her first book, Daisy grew up in Indiana watching tennis all summer every summer on TV and having her own fair share of high school and college boy drama, much like her characters.
