MizB of Should Be Reading hosts Teaser Tuesday. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here’s a tease of what I am currently reading:
In the final say, a man can only have one master. Which one did Cecil serve?
From The Tudor Secret by CW Gortner, pg. 83.
Please leave a comment with a link to your teaser so I can stop by.
Oh, nice! I haven't read much historical fiction lately. I have two teasers this week. My YA teaser is from Warped by Maurissa Guibord and my adult teaser is from Blood Challenge by Eileen Wilks. Happy reading!
I haven't read much historical fiction either, but I have been seeing these Tudor books all over the book blogs, so may have to try reading one. You can find me here: annsreadingcorner.blogspot.com
I need to step ouside of my comfort zone and read a book from the historical genre because it seems that so many bloggers enjoy this type of fiction.

Thanks everyone! I really got into historical fiction about a year and a half ago when I read Philippa Gregory's Tudor series…since then I've been buying a ton of other historical fiction books but just haven't gotten to them yet – this year I am going to try to read at least half of them!
Nice tease from this historical novel. I have an historical novel too, from 13th century France: My teaser: The Tapestry Shop
I haven't read any historical fiction lately…the closest I came was when I read Alcott books for that challenge last year. This one sounds intriguing.
