It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.
This weekend was a low-key weekend and thus I got a lot of reading done. The only problem was that I was so into my book that I didn’t want to take any time to write reviews and so they continue to pile up – does anyone else have that problem?
This week I will be taking some time to put my reading list together for the Fall Into Reading Challenge (hosted by Katrina at Callapidder Days) which starts September 23rd and I will be strategically picking books to help me finish all the other reading challenges I signed up for this year. I can’t wait for that to begin!!!

What about you? What does your reading week look like this week? Whatever it is, happy reading and have a good week!
I really want to read The Language of Flowers…and I loved Elizabeth Berg's The Year of Pleasures…but then, I've enjoyed all of her books.
Hope you're enjoying Hide. I read it awhile ago, but remember it was suspenseful and impossible to put down.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
@Creations by Laurel-Rain Snow I have enjoyed all of Elizabeth Berg's books I've read so far…but I still have quite a bit to read yet.
Hide is great…I had read books 4 and 5 in the series for blog tours and decided to go back and read the first three…great series!
I try to write a review before I move on to the next book, doesn't alway happen, but if it does then I keep myself up-to-date. I've got Best Staged Plans and Kill Me If You Can on my TBR list.
Best Staged Plans sounds like a good one! Happy reading this week!
Here's my Monday: myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/09/its-monday-what-are-you-reading_12.html
@Nise' Thanks for sharing your tip, Nise…I really do need to get a better system!
@Bev Hankins It was a fun book…I really do love all her books – she gives great insight into fun careers.
I liked your review on James Patterson's "Kill Me If You Can." Very intriguing. It's a good sign when readers finish a book in a day. I haven't read Patterson since "The Lake House" which was so long ago. Maybe I'll dive back into his work. Happy Reading!
@Becca I read almost all of James Patterson's books. I have The Lake House on my shelf and I really need to read it.
What a great week of books! Hope you enjoyed all of them. [:
Thanks for stopping by my it's monday.
Erin @ Let's Evaluate
I read Rescue this past week. I enjoyed it as well. Have you read any other books by that author? I'm starting State of Wonder this week – I'm really excited!
Book blogging is a lot of fun, but can really be time consuming…do you read books, write reviews, or read other blogs…really you need to do all and there are so many books, so many blogs, so little time…
Thanks for stopping by! I am curious to see your thought on Cleopatra, I own it but bulky biographies tend to intimidate me. What series was it that you loved? Definitely wondering!
Oh wow, those 3 up next are by well regarded authors. Looks like a week of great reading

New follower here!
You seem to have quite a busy week ahead of you.
You've definitely shared some books I'll have to add to my TBR list.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
@ Let's Evaluate: The books I just finished were great – hoping to get to those reviews soon!
@ Lindsey: I've read Wedding in December and Light on Snow. I have Strange Fits of Passion, A Change in Altitude and Sea Glass on my shelf – hoping to get to them soon!
@ RAnn: I feel the same way…I need to create some type of schedule for me to be able to do all three.
@ Zoe: I was enjoying Cleopatra, but put it aside. I really need to get back to it. The series I just finished was Barbara Kyle's Thornleigh series – all four books were really good!!!
@ Dizzy C: I'm excited for the next three – hopefully I get to them all this week!
@ Aeicha: I'm hoping it's going to be a productive week!
I'm looking forward to reading The Language of Flowers. Have a good week!
I also have a problem with a review backlog. I do sort of take things by spells–read a lot, then I finally feel like reviewing a lot. My current backlog has gotten a little ridiculous. Enjoy your week!
Cleopatra sounds like a great book, I have always been intrigued with her life and enjoy reading about her. The Language of Flowers is another I want to read.
Have a great week!
@ Rachel: I can't wait to start The Language of Flowers – it sounds like such a great premise to a story! I. am participating in the blog tour for that book and the review will be up next Friday (9/23)
@ IntrovertedJen: I feel the same way…I need a whole day just to get caught up right now!
@ Quixotic Magpie: I, too, have always been fascinated with Cleopatra's life…and I really need to get back to this book!
Hi Kristin – I'm delighted that you've read all 4 of my "Thornleigh" novels and enjoyed them. I so appreciate you getting the word out to your readers 🙂

@Barbara Kyle I will be posting my review of The Queen's Gamble tomorrow as part of your blog tour…I'm so excited that you will be writing more books in this series!!!
I can't wait to read Darkness, My Old Friend! I quite like Lisa Unger.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your good wishes. We have quite a few books in common. I have The Language of Flowers for review and the Cleopatra book waiting patiently for me lol and I also share your review backlog difficulties. Although this year, just because I'm reading less it's more manageable.
Have a great week and happy reading 🙂
