It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.
Last week, I was a review writing machine…I can’t believe I managed to get seven reviews done – the end of the year was a great motivator to catch up! Later today I will be posting all the challenges I am participating in and these will help drive the books I choose to read in this new year.

What about you? What does your reading week look like this week? Whatever it is, happy reading and have a good week!
I should probably really start reading some Patterson! I know most people like his work but I haven't jumped on board! I hope you have a good reading week!
Happy Reading!

@Book Lady I read most of Patterson's books…there are a few series that I do not care but, but on the whole, you can expect quick, suspenseful reads.
I have Big Stone Gap on my TBR for this year. I have heard such great things about it!
The Kitchen Daughter is on my list! Enjoy the reads! Happy New Year!
The Kitchen Daughter, Still Alice and Kill Alex Cross are books I wanted to read last year but did not. They are on my list for 2012. You had a great reading week! Here's to another one. 🙂
I loved the Big Stone Gap series! Hope you do too. It was my first introduction to Trigiani and after that I read (almost) all her books.
Have a good week!
You read my very favourite, Still Alice 🙂
Happy New Year Kristin.
@ Sunnysmileqt: I just finished Big Stone Gap and I enjoyed it…I have the rest of the series and am looking forward to reading them.
@ Sheila: I've heard good things about The Kitchen Daughter and can't wait to start it.
@ Shonda: I usually end up reading the James Patterson books as soon as they come out.
@ Leeswammes: My first intro to Trigiani was with the first two Valentine books, which I loved.
@ Marce: I really enjoyed Still Alice as well as her other book, Left Neglected.
