It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.
It was a crazy week. My brother-in-law was admitted to the hospital and on the ICU/CCU floor all week. I spent all week with her at the hospital and because they were out of state visiting a friend when he was admitted, we had to stay in a hotel all week. Needless to say, while I did get some reading done, I did not get to the many reviews I have to still do. Hopefully this week will be quieter and I will make a dent in that list.

What about you? What does your reading week look like this week? Whatever it is, happy reading and have a good week!
The title, Glitter Baby, is catching my eye. Speedy recovery to your brother-in-law!
I hope your brother-in-law is doing better.
Here's my
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I'd love to have you stop by.
@ BookBelle: The cover to Glitter Baby is eye-catching as well!
@ Deb: I'm off to visit your blog.
My brother-in-law is doing better this week – have no idea what happened which is very frustrating, but he's slowly getting back to himself. Thanks for the well-wishes!
I love Lisa Gardner's books, and must read Catch Me. I don't think I've read The Seventh Month, either…
Enjoy your reads.
Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
Oh Kristin I hope your BIL recovers quickly! <3 And on a side note – for what you had going on last week it looks like you did get a lot of reading done! ๐
I hope you have a slower paced week this week girl!

Sorry to hear about your BIL. Hope his recovery is swift. May your reading be stress free this week.
@ Creations by Laurel-Rain Snow: The 7th Month is an eSpecial book – I was able to get it on my Nook. I didn't realize that Lisa Gardner had another series out – the FBI profiler series. Have you read any of those books?
@ Bonnie: Thanks…I am hoping for a quieter week this week, too.
@ Nise: Thanks…a stress-free week would be awesome!
thanks for stopping by my blog, looks like some interesting titles there, will definitely be checking back to see how you liked the silver boat.
I just finished it and enjoyed it. Hopefully the review will be up within a week or so – I am so far behind and am trying to get caught up.
You're so organized! I admire that you find time to read your own books as well, I have struggled with that since I started reviewing. I recently made a vow to myself that I would fit in at least one personally purchased book a month, so that I can get my personal TBR file down!
Love your blog…I always carry a book with me too! Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm now a follower ๐
I go in spurts where I read a bunch of my own books and then all I do is read review books. Plus there are the library books that have to go back by a certain time, which sometimes throws a wrench into everything, but I am trying to cut back on buying so many books, so the library helps. Doing challenges also helps – this year I strategically picked challenges that would force me to read books from my shelves.
@ Paula: So far, I am enjoying The Silver Boat. I haven't read/listened to a Luanne Rice book in a while.
@ Stacey: There are definitely times when I feel that all I am reading are review books, but this year I have cut down on the amount of review books I am taking on. I also signed up for the Off the Shelf reading challenge, which is helping me to read my own books.
I have a bunch of reviews to write and post.
My daughter's Scholastic book order came in. Come see what she and I read.
I used to love doing the Scholastic book orders, especially when I was teaching Kindergarten…hope your daughter enjoys her books!
You have a pile of good reading ahead of you. Enjoy them all.
Thanks!
I hope your brother-in-law is better soon. The Silver Boat sounds good! I love reading books about sisters since I have three.
I have two sisters and love reading about family relations…I also have four brothers!
I'm sorry to hear your brother in law is ill, I hope he is recovering. The Little Giant of Aberdeen County is on my wishlist.
Wishing you a great reading week!

Thanks…he's doing better. The Little Giant was really good…I hope the author writes more books – I like her writing style.
All the best to your brother-in-law! Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment at my blog! Fingers crossed for you, your family – and your reading.. Have a nice day!
Thank you…he seems to be getting better and I am glad to be back home!
Thanks for stopping by at m blog. It seems you are very busy reading and reviewing. I'd love to read Infidel, but my library doesn't have it. Not sure if I should buy it.
Hope you brother-in-law will be better soon.
Infidel is definitely a compelling book – not a fast read by any means, but definitely one that makes you think.
A scary time, hope your brother-in-law makes a speedy recovery. I over-committed to review books in the last few months, hopefully I've learnt my lesson and can exercise some will power in the coming months lol
Have a good week and happy reading ๐
I've found myself in that position a few times last year and have been really choosy with the review books I take on now.
So many great books to read! Enjoy!
I hope your brother-in-law is doing well.
Thank you!
I started the Little Giant book years ago but for some reason still haven't finished it. I may need to give it another try!
I enjoyed it and am hoping to see more from the author.
I love historical fiction so I have my eye on By the King's Design!
It was so good!!! Have you read her other books?
Oh I hope your BIL is doing better. And I hope you are catching up on reviews. It is frustrating for me when I get behind.
You have many good books and several authors I like. I am thinking Glitter Baby must be a newer SEP as I have read most of her older works.
Enjoy your weekend. ๐
Looks like a great week.
