I received the nicest card in the mail this week – a thank you from an author whose debut novel I read and reviewed here at Always With a Book. I was so touched that the author took the time to write this to me. In today’s age of fast, convenient electronic communication, it’s nice to know that the art of letter-writing isn’t lost to all.

Hey Kristin, thanks so much for wishing me well for surgery last week. Most of your reads coming appeal to me. Have a great week & happy reading π
Hope you are feeling better! I'm looking forward to my reads this week – not too much on deck which means I can pick what I'm in the mood for next!
Your list of books read and books begun last week is the list I want to post. It just didn't happen for me last week. I hope this week is better.
Here's my
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you will stop by!
I find doing my post this way really helps me keep organized with review books and library books. If I could only keep up on the reviews!
You have had a busy reading week. Some really nice books on your list as well.
It ended up being a pretty good week – hoping to get a little more reading time in this week!
I will have to check out your review of The Girl Who Chased the Moon. I also want to read The Sugar Queen. I've become a fan of Sarah Addison Allen's books but haven't read either of those yet.
I still need to read One For the Money but I've pushed it down my reading list so I can read some new releases like Insurgent.
I think The Girl Who Chased the Moon is my favorite of the ones I've read so far…loved it! The others were still good, though.
I'm really enjoying One for the Money – it's a funny, quick read and I'm looking forward to reading the whole series.
How are you liking The Weird Sisters so far? I read the print version and thought it was pretty good. I hope you enjoy the rest of your books.
It's different…I only listen to it while at the gym or out walking, so I'm not that far into it. I like the whole sister thing – I have two sisters myself and can totally relate!
The Sugar Queen *sigh* I really want to read that book soon – looking forward to reading your review Kristin! And I just checked out your thoughts on The Girl Who Chased the Moon – I loved it and am so happy that you enjoyed it too. Sarah Addison Allen is one of those authors who just makes me smile! I also bought the Weird Sisters ages ago but haven't had a chance to read it yet (so many books…).
I hope you have a great week Kristin! π

I totally agree with the sentiment 'so many books'!!! I think I have at least 100 books sitting on my shelf just waiting to be read. One of these days I will be caught (or at least I keep telling myself that!).
I enjoyed The Sugar Queen but liked The Girl Who Chased the Moon much better. The Weird Sisters is good so far.
love sophie kinsella's books! happy monday!
They are fun! I'm just starting to go through all her non-Shopaholic books.
Babyville was pretty cute! I enjoyed it when I read it! π
Happy reading!!
What are YOU reading??
So far, I'm enjoying it, too!
I am looking forward to what you thought of What Doesn't Kill You. I have that and The Good Father coming. Have a great reading week.
How are you liking ONE FOR THE MONEY? I personally LOVE that series and hope you are, too! π
It's really funny! I think I am going to enjoy it – although it appears I have a lot of reading ahead of me to catch up to the current release!
I think I mentioned it last week, but I loved One For the Money and Babyville was really cute. Hope you enjoy them! I'm going now to check out your review of Undomestic Goddess. I really enjoyed that one as well. π
Happy Reading!

That's so cool that the author sent you a note! Have an awesome week, Kristin!
I was really touched – it's always nice to be recognized for what we do!
Looks like you are enjoying author Sarah Addison Allen. She is a new author to me. I am interested in your thoughts on the Iris Johansen book… one of my long time fav authors. π
Have a great week!
I loved What Doesn't Kill You – I really liked Catherine Ling in some of the Eve Duncan books and was excited to see she was given her own book. Hopefully it won't be the last time we see her!
I'm really interested in reading One for the Money, it sounds like so much fun!!!
It was – I finished it last night and can't wait to read the rest of the series!
