Tynga of Tynga’s Reviews is starting a new meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. Here’s what I got:
Purchased:
The Shoemaker’s Wife
by Adriana Trigiani
I got this from the library when it first came out in April, but loved it so much I wanted my own copy. This past week, Adriana was at the local bookstore and so I not only purchased a copy, but had her sign it!!! Have you read this one yet – it’s amazing!!!
Very Valentine
by Adriana Trigiani
Another book that I’ve read but wanted for my collection – plus the 3rd in the series is coming out sometime next year and I really want to reread the first two books. Also got this one signed!
Brava, Valentine
by Adriana Trigiani
This is the second in the Valentine series and I got it signed, too!
From the library:
Winter Garden (audio)
by Kristin Hannah
When I went to the library looking for some new audios, I wasn’t sure what I wanted…saw this and realized I had never read it.
A Cup of Friendship (audio)
by Deborah Rodriguezs
I’ve never heard of this author or the book, but it looks intriguing.
Chasing Fire (audio)
by Nora Roberts
Have been waiting for this to be available – can’t wait to start listening to it.
What did you get this week?
I have heard such good things about The Shoemaker's Wife and Winter Garden. I hope you enjoy them!
I highly recommend The Shoemaker's Wife – it's fantastic!!! I'm enjoying Winter Garden so far.
It's awesome that you got signed editions of some favorites. Happy reading!
Diana @ Book of Secrets
My Sunday Post & Mailbox Monday
I have a whole bookshelf devoted just to signed books. And I think these 3 signed by Adriana Trigiani are my most valuable!
I love the valentine series and am glad to hear the third is coming out next year – finally! I have been waiting for that third installment.
I read another book by Deborah Rodriguez (also set in Middle East) and really enjoyed it.
I loved the Valentine series, too, and wanted to have the first 2 books so I can reread them right before book 3 comes out.
I'm excited to listen to the Deborah Rodriguez – it does sound very interesting. Do you remember the title of the one you read?
Nice haul! I love Nora Roberts!!
Giselle
Xpresso Reads
I love her books, too!
It looks like you have some really fun reading ahead of you!
Yes, I think I do!
