It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, isthe perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.
This past week was a crazy one for me. I had minor surgery on my left arm to remove a cyst or a FLT as the doctor called it (funny little thing) and because I am left-handed, it provided a minor inconvenience for the first few days – I couldn’t type, write, or do much with my arm. Then, I ended up catching the cold my husband had all last week – and of course, I end up getting it much worse. I pretty much spent the weekend on the couch, alternating between reading and sleeping, and watching some tv while crocheting. Hopefully this week will be a bit better!

Here's my It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you will stop by!
Thanks Deb…I am hopefully getting my stitches out today. If only I could get rid of this cold!
That sounds like a rough week, hope you're feeling 100% soon. I'm looking forward to my first Lisa Genova read. Hope this week is a better one for you, happy reading 🙂
Thanks Teddyree…so do I! I will be looking forward to seeing what you think of Still Alice!
Hope you're better soon! It stinks to be out of commission like that but it's always nice to get some reading and tv watching done.
Thanks Shan…hopefully stitches come out today. If I could only get rid of the cold, I'd be golden!
Aw I hope this week is better for you! Its been a while since I read any Nora Roberts, I should read her again soon.
Thanks Quixotic Magpie. I love Nora Roberts – she has great series/trilogies as well as really good stand-alones. You can never go wrong with her!
Hope your arm is feeling 100% very soon! Are you enjoying the new Genova? I'm really looking forward to reading that one!
Thanks Jennifer…it's doing better – just need to get the stitches out. I am enjoying Love Anthony – and it's narrated by Deborah Messing who is just great!
I loved Still Alice, I hope this one is as good 🙂
I think it's better than Still Alice, which I liked.
I've had Wolf Hall on my TBR list for sooooo long! Hope you enjoyed it 🙂
Crystal, I was enjoying it and then it got pushed aside. I really need to get back to it soon!
I hope that you're feeling better soon! Looks like you've been reading a lot of Patterson lately. I haven't read him in ages!
Thanks thebookienook…me, too! I love JP and it just so happens these 2 books were just released. Both were good!
Sorry that you got that cold. My hubby has it and I am trying not to get it! ;o). I've got a couple of those FLTs on my leg and have to decide when to take care of them. Have a great reading week.
Thanks Nise. Just got my stitches out, now if I could only get rid of my cold that easily! It never fails – hubby gets a cold and I get it, but much worse.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Love Anthony. I loved Lisa's first book, the second one not so much. So I'm a little not sure about the third one.
I hope you're feeling better after your surgery. The book you're reading I'm most interested in is Wolf Hall. It's supposed to be good, so I hope you enjoy it!
Hope you recover quickly from your surgery and cold! At least you have some good books to keep you occupied! 🙂
I hope that cold doesn't hang on like mine has. And I hope you recover quickly. You have a great mix of books. I like that.
I hope your week has been good. Happy Reading. 🙂
