I’m reading The Perfect Hope by Nora Roberts:
With a few groans and sighs, the old building settled down for the night.
This is the final book in Nora Roberts’ Inn Boonsboro Trilogy and while I am glad to have finally gotten my copy from the library, I’m also bummed that it’s the last book in this series. I have absolutely fallen in love with not only these characters, but also the inn. How cool would it be to stay in an inn that has rooms named after literary couples – that sounds like a reader’s dream!
Have you read any of the books in this series?
I'm like you. I hate it when a favorite series ends. Thanks for sharing.
Even though I hate when they end, I do love reading series – you really get to know the characters.
The anticipation and subsequent melancholy associated with the final book of a series makes for a complicated reading experience.
Yes it does!
Nora Roberts is such a good (and prolific!) writer. I'm sure I'd love this series as much as you have. I'm adding these books to my TBR list right now.
A RELIABLE WIFE is featured on my blog today.
They are fantastic books. And you are right, NR is a great writer – there's not too much she's written that I haven't read or liked!
That opening sounds familiar. I think I've read something like that in another story.
Hmm…that's interesting. If you remember, let me know!
I am on the waitlist for this book and look forward to reading it.
It's so good…but I am so bummed the series is now done!
