Tynga of Tynga’s Reviews is starting a new meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. Here’s what I got:
For Review:
Children of Liberty
by Paullina Simons
This looks to be a good historical fiction book. From what I understand, it’s actually a prequel to Paullina Simons’ The Bronze Horsemen series, which I have not read.
From Library:
Perfect Fit
by Carly Phillips
This is Carly Phillips’ latest Serendipity book – actually a sub-series about the cops of Serendipity.
Big Sky River
by Linda Lael Miller
This is the next in Linda Lael Miller’s Swoon Worthy Cowboys series and the cover has me drooling already!
Seven Up (audio)
by Janet Evanovich
I’m slowly making my way through the Stephanie Plum series – all on audio!
Purchased:
*** As part of their 12 Days of Christmas, Sourcebooks was highlighting a different author each day and their e-books were all on sale. On Thursday, all Jill Mansel’s books were $.99 – how can you pass that up? I stocked up and now have a lot of books to read!
Nadia Knows Best (e-book)
by Jill Mansel
To the Moon and Back (e-book)
by Jill Mansel
Staying at Daisy’s (e-book)
by Jill Mansel
Take a Chance on Me (e-book)
by Jill Mansel
Perfect Timing (e-book)
by Jill Mansel
Rumor Has It (e-book)
by Jill Mansel
What did you get this week?
I picked up some of the Jill Mansell books last week. Now I need to make time to read one! Have a great week.
Yeah…not sure when I will get to them either, but couldn't pass up the great deal. I am going away in April, so at least I know I already have some books on the Nook all loaded up!
Oh my goodness, I am so excited for Children of Liberty!! I can't wait to see what you think of it!
I'm looking forward to reading it – it sounds like a really intriguing story.
I didn't know about Big Sky River. I will have to look for a copy. I did like the first two books in that series. Don't you just love books for $.99? I have a bunch in my posts this week too. My new books posts are at Ms. Martin Teaches Media (YA) and Inside of a Dog (Adult). Please stop by if you get a chance. Happy reading!
I loved the first two in the Swoon Worthy Cowboy series, too and can't wait to read this one! It's hard to pass up those great deals – at least I will always have something on the nook to read!
I am a sucker for a 99 cent sell – so I don't blame you for stacking up. The Jill Mansel books look really interesting too. I need to look them up on Goodreads and see what they are about.
Nice haul and Happy reading!
