It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.
Last week I participated in Challenge Walk MS – a 3-day, 50 mile walk in Charleston, South Carolina…what an amazing experience!!! My mom did the walk last year and when she decided to do it again this year, I agreed to do it with her.
As far as reading goes, I’ve seemed to lost my momentum. I got a ton of audio done over the last two weeks, but that was mostly do to the drive down to Mom’s in North Carolina and then back up to New York – lots of solid listening time logged! I’m hoping to get some quality reading in this week – I feel so backlogged!

week? Whatever it is,
happy reading and have a good
week!
You've accomplished such a lot this week. Enjoy the books and have a good week.
Thanks…same to you!
Love the sounds of the books you are reviewing.
I enjoyed all the ones I've already read and am hoping the upcoming ones will be just as good!
I really enjoy Sarah Addison Allen's books – especially Garden Spells.
Have a great week reading!
and congrats on the MS walk.

I loved Garden Spells…now I think I've read/listened to all her books. Hope she comes out with a new one soon!
Thanks…the walk was tough, but so amazing!
Me too – I'm not sure, but I might have read all her books also. They're very fun, aren't they?
Yes they are…I think I ended up reading 1 and listening to the rest – great audios!!!
I loved Jane Porter's The Good Woman, so The Good Daughter is on my list.
I've been tackling the Stephanie Plum list, but have a long ways to go.
Enjoy your week! Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
The Good Daughter was great…I can't wait for the last one to come out!
What a wonderful accomplishment! I am just able to get back into walking, after an injury. Hope you get your reading momentum back quickly, mine got a jump start last week.
Glad to hear your back after your injury – I was sidelined a few times in my training due to injuries and illness.
I keep hearing such good things about the history in an hour books. I really need to check those out!
Have a great week 🙂
This is my first one and I am really enjoying it. I'm not sure how long it really takes to read as I only get to pick it up every once in a while for a few minutes at a time.
Congrats on your Challenge walk MS! I feel like I lost some momentum too. Can't wait to see what you thought of Lady of Ashes.
My review of Lady of Ashes went up today – I absolutely loved it!!!
I know that backlogged feeling…it's awful. I hope you have a great week!
Yes, it is…and I have so many good fun books waiting to be read – but I promised myself I would get the review books out of the way first!
Great job on your walk! And don't worry about feeling like you need to catch up. That can be overwhelming. It's good to just find something awesome to read and ease yourself back into the habit 🙂
Yeah…I know, but I feel that I have so many review books that I can't get to my fun books. Hoping to rectify that soon!
Reading slumps are the worst. I hope you break out of yours soon!
Congrats on completing that walk! That is such a wonderful thing to do with your mom. 🙂
I just need to read all the review books I have on deck and then I should be fine. It's not even that the review books aren't good b/c they are – it's just that I have so many of my own books just waiting to get picked up!
Congrats on the MS walk … what a fantastic effort! I've had a busy couple of weeks and am way behind with review books eek … good luck getting caught up. I'm almost done with Lady Of Ashes, really enjoying it.
Happy reading 🙂
