It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (3.18.13)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

Last week was crazy busy between work and then getting ready for our annual St. Patrick’s Day party. Our town has a huge St. Patrick’s Day parade, which is usually the Sunday after St. Patrick’s Day but because the holiday fell on a Sunday this year, the New York City parade had to be held on Saturday so ours was on the actual holiday. (A lot of the same groups march in both parades) Despite the cold weather, it was a great day. We had a catered corned beef and cabbage dinner, my husband made a delicious baked potato soup and I made a ton of fun treats – thank you Pinterest for all the fun ideas!!! It was a great day hanging out with friends and family.

On the blog front, I am so glad that Bloggiesta is this coming weekend…I feel that I have been neglecting my blog lately and am once again behind on my reviews. Other than scheduled reviews for blog tours, I haven’t had the time to do too much else, so this weekend should help me get back on track. Will you be participating?

It's so good…I did the audio and loved it. Have you read her other book, The Little Giant of Aberdeen County? That was pretty good, too!

I love this meme because not only do you get to see what everyone else is reading and has going on, but it helps me keep myself organized!
