Armchair BEA 2013 has come to an end and I had a great time. This was my second year participating and it was just as informative and fun as the first time I participated. One day I would love to get to the actual BEA, but until that happens, ArmchairBEA is the place to be!
Here’s a recap of all my posts related to the event from this past week:
- Day 1: Introductions
- Day 1: Genre Discussion: The Classics
- Day 2: Blogger Development
- Day 2: Genre Discussion: Genre Fiction
- Day 3: Giveaway Day (Giveaway still open until June 6th)
- Day 4: Ethics in Blogging
- Day 4: Genre Discussion: Non-Fiction
- Day 5: Keeping It Real, Fresh & Fun
I really enjoyed the topics of the day as well as the genre discussions. I’ve been wanting to add discussion posts to my blog for a while, but feel that I never come up with good ideas…maybe one of these days I’ll be inspired with original content.
Between putting together my posts and then trying to get around to visit and comment on everyone’s post – I was one busy girl!!! I totally missed the post that listed the agenda with the prompts…that would have saved me a lot of time! But, alas, I still got the posts written – and hey, what’s a little added pressure to an already crazy week, right? Next year, I will go through all the ArmchairBEA posts a few days before the start and prep my posts (or at least that’s my plan as of now!).
I loved going around to everyone’s blog and I plan on going back and revisiting everyone over the next few weeks – thank goodness the linky’s will be up for a while. Plus, I think I managed to add a ton of books to my tbr list…will that list ever get smaller?
If you participated, I hope you had as much fun as I did. And if you are a new follower because of Armchair BEA, welcome to my blog!
I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to the organizers of this event…ArmchairBEA 2013 rocked and I can’t wait for next year!!!
i see we both had a blast! here is my wrap-up: wordsandpeace.com/2013/06/02/armchair-bea-2013-wrap-up-2/
I missed that early posts on topics, too, but like you managed to make it through. It is a lot fun. Happy to have found your blog, too.
I had a great time too! I loved meeting up with new blogs/bloggers and hearing their perspective on all these topics-can't wait for next year!
