Happy to report I am over whatever I had last week – and just in time as my sister ended up having the baby last weekend – she was scheduled to have the baby today! Luckily I was able to go down on Sunday and get lots of cuddle time with my newest niece! It was definitely love at first sight and I can’t wait to start spoiling her as I do with all my nieces and nephews.
Being that I was finally getting back to exercising after a week of being sick and we were dealing with another week of really cold temps and a snow storm, I decided to ease back into things. I started doing my own version of Leslie Sansone’s walking dvd’s while catching up on my shows – talk about multitasking!!!
Here’s how my week went:
Jan 18: rest
Jan 19: rest
Jan 20: 30 minutes indoor walking
Jan 21: 30 minutes indoor walking
Jan 22: 30 minutes indoor walking, plus 30 minutes shoveling
Jan 23: 45 minutes indoor walking
Jan 24: 45 minutes indoor walking
How did your week go?
I'm so glad you're feeling better! Smart move to ease back in, you don't want to overdo it by pushing yourself too hard too fast. I laughed when I saw 30 minutes shoveling because I know that's a killer workout and I'm so relieved I don't have to do it. I'm amazed you did any other moving that day! And a huge congrats to your sister 🙂 enjoy spoiling her!
Thank you. Luckily the snow was very light, so it was easy shoveling and I had done my walk earlier – otherwise I might not have done anything else!
Sounds to me like heaps of exercise, I bet the shovelling warmed you up. Good to know you are better and enjoying your new niece.
Thank you! I don't mind the shoveling as I don't usually have to do it – I just needed to dig out my car!
I love to shovel. I love to be outside and feel the cold and it is really a workout!! Congrats to your sister… how fun! I haven't heard about these DVDs about walking. I am going to check them out!! Here is my update : Book Blog Walkers

Glad you're feeling better, cuddles with your niece sounds like perfect medicine. Must check out those walking DVD's, I'd be keen to do my own version while catching up on TV shows. Good job, keep it up!!
