I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey.
Today my town has a huge St. Patrick’s Day parade and so we are having some family and friends over. My town has the second biggest parade outside of NYC, and it’s always the Sunday after St. Patrick’s Day, unless St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Sunday (in which case our parade takes place on the actual day since they can’t march in the city on that day – can’t march past St. Patrick’s Cathedral on a Sunday!). Anyway, since we live four houses off the parade route, we have a big bash – I do bagels and coffee before the parade and then corned beef and cabbage for after. It’s a lot of fun and despite the fact it’s supposed to be a bit chilly, it will be good to see some of my nieces and nephews as well as some friends we haven’t seen in a while!
