The Sunday Post #20 (4.20.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey.

For those that celebrate, Happy Easter!!! My hubby and I are having a quiet weekend. He’s busy getting his new boat, a mini transat, ready to put in the water – the long winter has delayed everything. That’s actually fine with me, as I could really use the quiet weekend. Between being away last week at my dad’s and then heading out of town again next weekend for my brother’s wedding, I’m using this quiet weekend to catch up on everything from cleaning my house to blog stuff!!!

Have a great week everyone!!!

Great haul! It's been a long time since I last read a book by Mary Higgins Clark. There are some familiar author names and I'd love to read their books. Happy Easter and have a great week!

Quiet weekends are good. I must go check out your review of Zevin's book. When I saw that you bought A Woman of Substance it brought back memories of when I read it years ago. I thought it was such a great read.

Will be interested to read what you have to say about The Bookstore, I thought Laurel-Rain did a very good review of it on Goodreads.

Looks like you've got your reading planned out! 'The Book Thief' is a good one, although I wasn't as excited by it as most! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I hope you have a great week!

I loved The Storied Life of AJ Fikry and I need to write my review soon. I have The Marriage Pact for review too. I haven't read anything else by Linda Lael Miller but since this is the first in a new series I won't feel confused!

    Have a great week!

Wow on the number of books you read last week. I can barely get one done. 🙂

The Last Original Wife was good. Good luck to anyone who enters the contest.
