The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey.
This weekend marks the beginning of the sailing season for my husband
which means from now until October, he will, weather-permitting, be
racing one if not two days of the weekend. If he’s racing at our boat
club, I can go and sit on the porch, which is a delightful place – it
overlooks the river and I can watch the races while reading my book. He
also races from another place and there’s no where to watch the races –
that just means I can stay home and read! Bottom line – lots of reading
time for me on racing days!!!
Have a great week everyone!!!

I have the Sheila Roberts book – looking forward to seeing what's new in Icicle Falls 🙂
I really enjoyed The Cottage on Juniper Ridge and can't wait to start The Tea Shop on Lavender Lane…it's such a fun series and I love the little tips/messages that Sheila Roberts manages to impart in her books!
I've been meaning to read The Bookstore so I need to keep my eye on your blog. 😉 Happy reading and have a great Sunday!
It was good…my review should be up later this week!
I see so many books on your lists that I want to read and have them waiting for me.
Have a great week!
That's the trouble with this meme – either you find books that you already have on your list and just bump them up on your pile or you end up adding to that never-ending tbr list!
I want to read Silver Bay. I hope you enjoy it!
Just started it yesterday…so far, so good! I really enjoy Jojo's writing, so I'm quite sure it will be good!
YAY for racing days!! Looking forward to your thoughts on Silver Bay and The Bookstore. Have a wonderful week and happy reading 🙂
Yes – racing days are great for me! Silver Bay is good so far and The Bookstore was interesting.
Who wouldn't love to watch her husband race while she read from the porch?! Enjoy!
Here's my It's Monday!
It's quite a good trade-off, I'd say – we both get to do something we love!
Kristin, are you using comment moderation? I commented on the Giveaway but didn't see it when I clicked enter.
Yes – for posts older than 7 days. I just moderated your comment – it's there and you are entered!
That is awesome that you can enjoy watching your husband race and still get so much time to read. I love when two hobbies mesh so well together!
It is a beautiful thing!!!
I have a whole stack of Susan Mallery's books on my TBR mountain. I can't wait to have time to read them. Come see my Monday Report. Have a great week!
Not only are they good stories – they are quick reads!!!
Ooh, now I want Silver Bay! And Up at Butternut Lake looks so tempting, too. As I recall, it has a gorgeous cover.
Enjoy! And thanks for visiting my blog.
Silver Bay is good so far! And Butternut Lake was really good – 1st in a new trilogy, and the cover was quite lovely!
Cool that books win, either way, for you this summer!
