The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I’ve
decided to try a new weekly meme – a place where I can do both a weekly
wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I’m going to
give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila’s It’s Monday Post over at Book Journey.
How is it already August??? I feel that this year is just flying by! Work has been crazy busy this summer, which is not usually the case – in fact, I think I ended up taking about 5 or 6 weeks off last summer. Definitely should have thought about doing that this summer – my reading is certainly suffering! I’m hoping, though, to at least try to take the last week or two of August off – if for no other reason than to just get some quality reading time in, relax, and enjoy some of the summer at least!
Have a great week everyone!!!

I had a great reading week: What a Week!
Thanks…I'm hoping I get to them all this week!
I can't believe we're already seeing Christmas books!! Though I don't want to think about the fact that we're now closer to Christmas than further away. Enjoy the reading!
The Christmas book is not a new book – it came out last year. Saw it at the library and grabbed it! I have a feeling, though, that the holidays will be here before we know it – this year just seems to be flying by!
Kristin I thought I commented, but maybe my coffee isn't working.. This summer has been hectic, and I hope you get some down time too. Ooo I see Christmas books..I will start grabbing them soon since the publisher don't mind if you wait to post your reviews until Nov and Dec.
The Christmas book I'm listening to is not a new release – it came out last year and I just happened to see it at the library so I picked it up. I'm sure, though, that we will start to get pitches soon for holiday books!
I hope you do take that week off at the end of August – holidays are important! I don't think I have read Nancy Thayer, but looks like you like her so perhaps I might.
This year seems to be on fast forward. I can't believe it's already August. Looks like you have some great reviews coming up. I've got to try Nancy Thayer. I've heard some amazing things about her. I hope you get a little more vacation in. This summer just seems to have been crazy busy for everyone. Have a great week!
The reviews coming up are on books I am looking forward to myself. True the year has gone by so fast.
I agree, the summer has gone so fast. It will be almost over when I return from visiting my mom. Hopefully, the last few weeks of summer will be fantastic and you will get a few of them off. Happy reading.
I can't believe it is August already too! You have a nice schedule for your reading – it looks like a variety of books which is really good. I hope you enjoy them and have a great week!
I can't wait to read your review of Big Little Lies. Remember we got this book waiting together in line at BEA?
Nice looking assortment of books. I always feel the end is coming when August 1 arrives. Summer has just flown by and three weeks from today I go back for another school year. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
I don't know what happened to July, I think I missed it >.<
My Sunday
