The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with Sheila’s It’s Monday post over at Book Journey.
I love the excitement a new year brings – it’s almost like that first day of school all over again! Everything starts fresh – new calenders, new spreadsheets for tracking books read for the year, new goals and hopes for what the year will bring. My main goal this year is to get myself organized and stay that way with my blog! I feel like I always start the year off with great intentions and then fall off that bandwagon. I’m hoping to spend some time today setting up my blog calendar so that I can plan accordingly. And hopefully I will stay on top of this!!!
Have a great week everyone!!!

Glad you are doing the fitness challenge. It's hard to read a lot and stay fit. I want a treadmill so I can read AND move even more. My Sun Post: fangswandsandfairydust.com/2015/01/sunpo-1-4-15.html
I listen to audio books while walking – that way I can get fit and still get some books in, too! When I'm home, walking in my house, I end up watching tv – catching up on the shows I have in my DVR.
I feel the exact same way about New Years! New notebooks and pens and plans and lists. It just makes me happy! I'm hoping to have more planned out blog-wise as well. You got The Dress Shop of Dreams in audio? I've been wanting to read that so I look forward to seeing what you think of the audio version. Have a great week!
Here's hoping we both stay on track planning-wise!!! I'm really enjoying The Dress Shop of Dreams – it's great on audio!
I love the newness of the year too Kristin. Focus on one or two goals a month and you'll succeed. Our new phones track our steps and the hubs and I are trying to be more fit this year! Happy New Year!
Yes, Kimba…that's my plan! My phone tracks the steps, too, but I also have a fitbit and wear that all day long! Once you start paying attention to it, it really motivates you to get moving even more.
I will be watching for your review of Vanished as I have that one to read as well!
Have a great week!
Stormi
Week In Review
The review is going up today! I liked it and can't wait for the next one!!!
I am forever fall off that Bandwagon so I totally know what you mean. I have so many calendars and apps you would think I was over organized but nope I am forever behind and totally forget stuff all the time.
I hope you have a great week! Here is to a more organized new year!!!
Organization…that's my mantra for the year!!! I'm going to try really hard to stay on top of things and even try to get ahead with reviews – at least some of the time. Here's hoping we are both successful at staying organized!!!
I can believe how much you post each week. Very impressive!
Deb
Thanks…sometimes I get more in that others – depends on what else I have going on. If I was more organized, I would always have at least 4 reviews per week. That's what I'm hoping to work towards this year!
To me you are the epitome of organisation! I have only this year set up a spreadsheet for reading, although I don't want to spend too much time on my computer because then it takes me away from reading. I want to read House Broken so will look forward to your review. I take it you enjoyed the The Violets of March from stars on Goodreads! Awesome.
Oh, thanks Kathryn!!! Yes – it's a vicious cycle – I would much rather be reading, but I figure if I spend a little time each day, I would probably be even more productive with my reading time. House Broken was good – review should be up tomorrow. And yes, I loved The Violets of March – now I can't wait to read more of her books!
I think we've been on the same bandwagon. LOL I hope to do better this year.
I'm organizing some reads and getting my challenge posts together. Looking forward to some fun this year and less stress.
here's my Sunday Post – fuonlyknew.com/2015/01/04/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-91-and-the-sunday-post/
I decided to only do a few challenges this year – ones that do double duty for tracking certain stats! Here's to both of us staying organized!!!
I feel like I'm already behind this year. I want to do better with writing reviews. I have a spreadsheet to keep track of review books and while I've been reading them I haven't been following through with reviews. Hopefully I can change that this year.
I hope you are enjoying Dress Shop of Dreams. I've got that on my upcoming TBR pile. I also want to read The Magician's Lie. It sounds really good.
Me, too!!! I am always behind on reviews as well. Hoping to get ahead and then stay that way! Dress Shop of Dreams is really good so far – fun on audio! I'm excited to read The Magician's Lie – have had it for a while but just haven't gotten to it yet. Here's to both of us staying organized and staying on top of those reviews!!!
I wish I could get motivated to start a fitness regime. Starting alone would be huge for me. Enjoy all your books.
You should join our group – #FitReaders. It's very motivating – having a bunch of other readers/bloggers in the same boat, trying to fit fitness in. Plus, knowing you have to check-in each week motivates you even more.
Good luck with all your 2015 goals! I like starting all the new things too. New spreadsheet is done, calendar is organized. But I don't really start over at work until Jan. 26 when our semester changes. Looks like January will be a month of change for me. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
Thanks Kathy! I'm still working on my stuff, but getting there! I think it will be a while before I'm totally on top of things, but small steps will make it more manageable. Most of January will be setting things up so that they work for me.
I'm excited to read The Dress Shop of Dreams. I really enjoyed The House at the End of Hope Street. Enjoy your week!
