So, I got back to doing some yoga this week…nothing crazy. I didn’t make it to any classes, but just did some yoga flows at home. And it felt so good!!! I really need to continue this. Now I just need to add some strength training – I’m thinking about doing yoga one day and then push ups, burpees and planks the next day. We’ll see how that goes. I’ll start this on Monday, provided whatever strange virus I picked up Thursday night is gone…
Here’s how my week went:
Jan 31: rest day (5906 steps)
Feb 1: 1 hour indoor walking plus 15 minutes of Yoga (11,048 steps)
Feb 2: 45 minute indoor walking plus 2 hours shoveling snow (10,152 steps)
Feb 3: 1 hour indoor walking plus 15 minutes of Yoga (12,626 steps)
Feb 4: 1 hour indoor walking (12,235 steps)
Feb 5: 45 minute indoor walking (8,309 steps)
Feb 6: SICK (2,178 steps)
Audiobooks listened to this week: Dust to Dust by Tami Hoag narrated by David Colacci. I finally finished this and will be starting a new audio book next week.
How did your week go? You can find this week’s link-up here.
Sorry to hear that you're sick. I'm hope that you start to feel better soon. I was sick almost all of January, so I feel your pain.
Hope you get over that virus quickly, you were doing great up until then. Shovelling snow must involve strength work too! I carted a load of wood and stacked it so that added to my exercise this week!
Sorry to hear your not feeling well. I'm sure two hours of snow shoveling is tiring. Have a great week and feel better soon.
Great job, in spite of an illness! Keep up the good work. (I walked about 3 miles today and want to take another walk.)
Great job with the steps! Hope you're feeling better. I love yoga but got out of the habit and need to get back. I bought a yoga app last week and hope to make it part of my day.
You did really good and got in a lot of steps. Your plan sounds good, I also need to add some weight training. I hope you feel better soon!
I had a problem remembering to do either yoga or stretching – especially since I added more strength training.
I ended up hurting my shoulder so that helped kick me into gear lol
