While I didn’t make it to the gym this week, I definitely took advantage of the nice weather and took lots of walks with the dogs. My older dog, Maddie is great on walks, so she and I have been talking longer walks first thing in the morning. The puppy, Chloe, isn’t as great on walks, so she still gets short walks. We’re working on this, and I am going to get a trainer to help.
This week, I’m going to focus on what I eat. It’s not that I eat a lot of junk food, but I’d like to clean up my eating a bit, weeding out the processed food. I already don’t drink soda, so that’s a plus, but I do have a bad chai latte habit that I need to break…or at least start to limit myself to only 1 a week 😉
Here’s how my week went:
May 2: 12,951 steps
May 3 13,635 steps
May 4: 18,459 steps
May 5: 19,644 steps
May 6: 16,263 steps
May 7: 4,896 steps (all-day work meeting, plus 2 hour drive home)
May 8: 12,581 steps
Audiobooks listened to this week – Started The Bone Tree by Greg Iles, narrated by Robert Petkoff.
