The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about
what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. I’m also going to link this up with Sheila’s It’s Monday post over at Book Journey.
What a beautiful weekend we are having here!!! My husband spent both days working on his boat – it went in the water yesterday and today he is moving it around from the boatyard to the marina where he will keep it all season. While I don’t get to go on this boat – it’s purely a racing boat – it does mean that we have now entered the sailing season and I will get lots of uninterrupted reading time on the weekends while he’s out sailing! I spent some time reading outside yesterday – it was glorious!!! Thinking I need to get some plans designed to have a deck built on the back of our house – I already have a nice enclosed front porch, but there’s just something about reading outside in the sun.
Have a great week everyone!!!

I wish my condo had a deck or balcony; instead I have to go down several flights and sit on the front steps of the building. Enjoy your outside time and your new books. 🙂
Thanks…we have a nice big yard, but it's quite open and I feel like I'm sitting in a fishbowl sometimes when I'm out there. Need a deck and a fence and then I'll be all set!
Yay ninterrupted reading time, that sounds good to me! And a deck sounds even better! Have a good week 🙂
Yes – I treasure my uninterrupted reading time!!!
Summer coming up sounds good. And a deck on the back – just dream and mention it a lot to hubby! I see mixed reviews for The Liar, I do have it on audio but won't get to it before you probably so will be interested to see what you thing.
Oh, I will! I've heard mixed reviews on The Liar, too, but am willing to still give it a shot – I really like her stand-alones.
I love when the hubby golfs because I know I can read/listen without feeling guilty! Yay for great weather. I love Jen Lancaster so I am excited to see what you think of her new book. Have a wonderful week!
This will be my first Jen Lancaster book and I'm quite excited to read it – have heard great things about it. And yes, the sailing time is great for not only reading, but listening to audio while I straighten up the house or just sit and crochet. 🙂
I haven't read the last couple of Reichs as I stopped enjoying them as much as I once did. They felt a little stale or something so keen to hear what you think of this latest.
Oh – I'm still catching up on the Kathy Reichs series…I just finished book 9 and got book 10 from the library. I did read the most recent one (book 17) because I got it last year at BEA. I'm enjoying them – but I can see how they might get a little stale at times.
I love the water, but am not a big fan of boats. Glad you had a wonderful day. Looking forward to The Liar.
Oh, I don't go on the boat – this is strictly a racing boat and all hubby's. We used to belong to a boat club and I would go down and sit on the porch to read while he sails, but now he sails out of somewhere else, so I just stay home and read!
Looking forward to the books coming up for review. All new to me.
Thanks…I love these memes for just that reason – finding new books to add to my list!
You sound like me when football season begins..I call it reading season! LOL Have an amazing week my friend!
Thanks! And yes, I can see that being the case during football season 🙂
