#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About
It was a busy week, work-wise, but a rather quiet week fitness-wise. I’m in the process of setting up my training program for the full marathon that I will be walking in October – not only do I need to set up a walking regiment to get ready to walk 26 miles, but I also want to ensure that I’m getting in some strength training. I think I’m going to do a combination of yoga, for the stretching aspect, and some weight training. I’ve been looking online for some easy-to-do/easy-to-follow routines, so hopefully I can make a schedule for myself and stick to it.
Here’s how my week went:
May 30: 8,528 steps
May 31 2,342 steps
Jun 1: 12,220 steps
Jun 2: 11,278 steps
Jun 3: 9,413 steps
Jun 4: 10,474 steps
Jun 5: 8,728 steps
Audiobooks listened to this week – Started The Reckoning by Jane Casey, narrated by Sarah Coomes.

Jessica Smith has some great (free) work outs on youtube.
Good luck with your training. I swear it's harder to train than the race itself. I ran the Marine Corp Marathon back in 2001 and it was a very long summer of running! But what a great experience! I look forward to "going along for the ride" with you!
