#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About
This week, I set a goal for myself to get at least 12k steps Monday thru Friday and I was successful. I like setting little goals like that – it really motivates me to keep moving. I think I am going to do the same thing for this week coming up. Work is starting to get really busy again, and will be so until the end of October, so fitting in exercise is going to be a challenge, but will be so important and also a good stress-reliever!!!
Here’s how my week went:
Sep 5: 8,229 steps
Sep 6: 10,059 steps
Sep 7: Gym – 5k on treadmill (48 minutes), 18,102 steps
Sep 8: 45 minute fitness walk, 16,874 steps
Sep 9: 2-15 minute fitness walks with dogs, 12,081 steps
Sep 10: 2-15 minute fitness walks with dogs, 12,025 steps
Sep 11: 2-15 minute fitness walks with dogs, 13,440 steps
Audiobooks listened to this week :
- Finished The Girl in the Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz, narrated by Simon Vance
- Finished Real Murders by Charlaine Harris, narrated by Therese Plummer
- Started The Admissions by Meg Mitchell Moore, narrated by Allyson Ryan
How did your week go? You can find this week’s link-up here.
Great job with the steps, Kristin! Happy Sunday!
My phone tracks my daily steps, but since I don't always bring it with me, it misses many steps. But I track most of my runs and walks, so it is valuable in that way.
I'll be interested in hearing what you think about the new Lisbeth Salander book. I'm planing on listening to it, but I'm still re-reading the first 3 (or rather re-listening). I'm reading The Admissions right now and enjoying it.
Great job! I just have a general, daily step goal, but maybe on my days off, I should challenge myself to more!
