#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in June 17

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About

I’m slowly getting back to yoga…and wow – I can definitely feel the difference of not doing it for a while. My body was tight and sore afterwards. But, since I’m awful at stretching, I feel that yoga provides a little of that through some of the poses, along with some really good strength-training.

I also started taking the dogs on longer walks in the morning – and they are loving it! We go early and I take them separately before I do my walk, but I love that my younger dog, who isn’t the best on the leash, is getting better and really does love her early morning walk.

I love don't yoga, especially right after my runs, when I have the time. I've been switching my old weightlift routine for yoga as well, because I just like it so much more than lifting weights.

Part of my knee pain exercises are yoga, but I'm not very limber. I'm always so jealous of people who can rock all those yoga poses! It really builds up strength! I'll have to look up more poses to work on. Glad to hear you're getting back to it. Great week, Kristin! 🙂

Great job, especially with the races/runs. I am hoping that I can get in more Body Flow (yoga) over the summer, but I won't be able to start back up for another month b/c of traveling.
