#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About
It was another hot week…and so hard to stay motivated. On top of that, my headaches are back – but this time, are due to tight muscles in my shoulders and neck. I have to set up an evaluation with a physical therapist and in the meantime, I have muscle relaxers and need to use heat/ice when it bothers me. So, I just need to use caution when working out so as to not injure it more.
Update on July goals:
- 10K steps M-F, at least 7,500 steps on the weekend – 5/5 & 2/2
- Strength-training exercises 3x a week – Had to put this on hold this week.
- Yoga 2-3 times a week – at least 15 minutes – Done!
- Eat
mindfully – continue to drink a minimum of 64 oz of water, limit
caffeine intake, up intake of fruits and veggies, up intake of protein
at each meal, limit intake of sugar. – This week was ok…lunch tends to be where I struggle.

Good work 🙂
Great work this week! I've been lazy about posting my updates the last couple weeks but have been pretty successful with my goals. Have a great week!
Good job with your steps in spite of the heat and not feeling your best.
The heat has been difficult for me too. It just seems to take away my energy to work out or move much.
I hope you feel better soon and the physical therapist is able to help.
I hope you can get some answers from the PT. It looks like you had a really great week, you are doing awesome with your steps!
The heat has been ridiculous here too. It's hard to want to exercise when it's so miserable outside.
I hope you have a great week!
Ugh… sorry you haven't been feeling well. Also, the heat is a problem. It never was for me before, but as I get older, it's tough to get out there in the humid weather. Hope your P/T helps you!
