#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About
Hello everyone…I’m back! This injury (a stress fracture in my foot) really has been most annoying…and now that I’ve been given clearance to start exercising again, I am slowly getting back to my regular routines. Boy is it hard to follow doctor’s orders – for now, I am only allowed to do fitness walks every other day and am supposed to be following the 10% rule as far as increasing my distance goes. Not so easy for this gal who just wants to go full-speed ahead!!! But, I’m doing what I’m supposed to and more importantly, I’m listening to my body – if I start to feel any discomfort, I stop. After all workouts, I’m still icing and elevating – I really don’t want any more issues!
Here’s how last week went:
Sep 2: 11,158 steps (1 Charity Mile for Girls on the Run)
Sep 3: 6,306 steps
Sep 4: 8,193 steps
Sep 5: 10,982 steps (Leslie Sanson – 1 Mile Classic Low Impact)
Sep 6: 7,143 steps
Sep 7: 10,030 steps (2 Charity Miles for Girls on the Run)
Sep 8: 8,138 steps
Total Steps: 61,950 steps
Audiobooks listened to last week (since I’m not much of a music fan, I listen to books while I walk):
- Started & Finished The Silent Girls by Eric Rickstad, narrated by R.C. Bray

Kristin, I'm sorry to hear about the stress fracture, but you are doing well anyway in terms of your daily steps! I hope you've had a chance to relax and rest this weekend.
Welcome back!! Glad you are starting to mend. Listening to your body and doctor are GOOD things! Just take it slowly and you'll get back to where you want!
