My thoughts: I am now a super fan of Sarah Pinborough’s books because she writes the most twistiest, craziest thrillers out there. And I am all for it. Each book is so damn unique and fun that you just have to read them.

I loved this book. It completely keeps you guessing as to where it’s heading and just when you think you might have it figured out, Sarah Pinborough twists things up just a hare, and yet, she still isn’t quite done. There are so many little twists and turns that it’s hard to keep track, yet the surprises keep coming and kept this reader from ultimately figuring it all out. It’s got more suspects than you can imagine and one minute you like everyone and the next you can’t stand them. I love that because not only did it keep me on my toes, but it keep me from knowing who I could ultimately trust.

I suggest you go into this book as blind as you can and just enjoy it. It’s a thrilling read with a lot of moving parts that makes it very addicting as you want to see how it all comes together. I loved this, especially the element of voodoo that was woven into the story. I’ve never read a book with this supernatural element added in the fray and it provided for some interesting dynamics. 

I’ve now read three books by Sarah Pinborough and really enjoyed each one. I cannot wait to see what she writes next. Have you read her books?
