Month in Review: January 2021

Well, we made it through the first month of the new year! Reading-wise, there have been some amazing books published already this year and it looks like there are a whole lot more to come…which is good. My big goal this year is to try to have a good mix of current books and old ones. I have quite a few backlist review books that for whatever reason I never got to and I am going to really try to make an effort to get to them this year. I managed to read 7 of them this month – mainly because a few of them happened to be buddy read picks, which helped tremendously – but whatever the case, I am on a mission to work through these books. I tried doing this last year, but pre-selected some books – this year, I am just setting a goal of at least 21. And of course, there are also the books I own…I am forever trying to mix those in, which I do manage, so that I don’t stress about too much.

Do you have any book-related goals for the year?
