Month in Review: September 2021

Is it just me or did September fly by? It was definitely a busier month for me, and so while I still had a good reading month, I didn’t get in quite as many books as I have been…but I still managed to read some really good ones! And now we are heading into my favorite season – FALL!!! I love the cool, crisp air and snuggling up with a good book.

My first month as co-leader of the online book club was a blast and I’m looking forward to continuing that journey. We just announced October’s books yesterday and I’m so excited for them – we are only doing 3 this month and they are all of a historical fiction slant, which I love. The books we will be reading are: The Vanished Days by Susanna Kearsley, The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman and The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles. If you’d like to join us for any or all of these chats, do let me know. We are currently working with Susanna to set up a zoom chat and I cannot wait – I love her books!!!
