How is it that January always seems to feel like it lasts forever yet February goes by in the blink of an eye? Somehow I still managed to read an awful lot of books, so I cannot complain! It was a good month for buddy reads and book club discussions. I seem to have joined a few more online book clubs this month and I have no regrets! Reading books that are slightly out of my comfort zone but being able to chat about them really does make for such a richer reading experience – even for books I normally would pick.
I also signed up for another challenge that I am super excited about – the #22in22 Challenge hosted by @Zibbybooks. Zibby is most known for her podcast, Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books, among many other things. She is challenging everyone to visit 22 different bookstores this year and the challenge is open to anyone – you can visit the website for more information. I’ve decided to support Independent Bookstores in this challenge and have been having fun finding and visiting ones around me. I’ll have to make some trips in order to get 22 in but I’m totally fine with that! So far, I’ve visited 5.
