Month in Review: August 2022

Where did August go? I don’t know about you, but I feel like as we get further into the year, the months seem to go faster. As has been the case the last few months, audiobooks continue to be my main way to consume books – I just seem to gravitate towards them more and more – not that there is anything wrong with that. I love listening to them when I’m out walking the dog or doing things around the house, and I always have one going in the car.

As I looked at my stats this month, I noticed I was very top heavy in review books, and I really need to get better at balancing more of my own books in the mix – especially as I have some books that have been sitting on my shelf that I would like to read sooner rather than later. My goal for this month is to really be cognizant of that and try to remember that when requesting books…we’ll see how that goes!

Don’t forget when shopping online for books that you can shop from my storefront at Bookshop.org. This is such a great opportunity to support independent bookstores and as you might have noticed, I’ve been included links to purchase the book on all reviews and spotlights.
