I cannot believe 2022 is over! December both flew by and dragged at times. It was a busy month and so my reading definitely slowed down, but I was more than okay with that…the books I did read managed to be some incredible reads and I ended up reading 4 of my favorite reads of the year this month! I’ll be sharing more about this in my newsletter which will be coming out at the end of the week – I know I dropped the ball on this but I plan to have it come out regularly in the new year, so if you haven’t signed up yet, now is the time. I’m still working on my reading goals for 2023, but I do know that I want to focus on reading the books I already own. While I love getting my hands on all the early copies, and still will be reading those review copies, I need to do a better job at balancing what I read so that it doesn’t feel like it’s a chore. Sometimes having to read books by a certain date because of pub dates or for blog tours just becomes too much. I am still hosting a few bookclubs – one online and one at a local bookstore – and I am looking forward to the reads we will be picking for both of those.
