My thoughts:

I absolutely loved Audra McElyea’s debut novel, One Little Word, so I was thrilled to be able to get an early copy of her next book and let me just say, there is no sophomore slump here. This was another wild, twisty read and I loved every second of it!

This book is a fast-paced, shocking read that kept me engaged from start to finish. I read this one while I was on vacation earlier this month and I flew through it. I loved that I had no idea who to trust. I’m all for a story that delves into toxic relationships and this one does that and so much more. It’s so much more than just a story about relationships – both friendships and love…it’s a layered story that is filled with twist upon twist until you’re not sure what to expect next. With the story moving back and forth in time, and having different points of view, we really get a full picture of all the players here…or do we? Again…just who can we trust?

This is another cleverly crafted story that gets under your skin. You will not be able to put this one down once you start it. If you like your thrillers to be high intensity, addicting and drama-fueled, this one is for you!
