It’s Monday…What Are You Reading? (8.13.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way
for me to
begin my week and allows me to
focus on what
needs to be read and to see what I
have or have not
accomplished the previous week.
I also enjoy
discovering new books by
visiting other participants
blogs.

I finished my first read-a-thon (Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-thon) and am now starting a second –Bout of Books Read-a-thon runs from today until August 19. I’m hoping that by the end of this one, I will be caught up on reading some of the review books that have been piling up. Then, I will have to spend some serious time writing all the reviews!!!

I also started a new fitness regime this past week. I’m back to using MyFitnessPal and tracking everything I eat as well as all the exercise I do. It’s there that I found the 10,000 step challenge for August which I decided to participate in. Since starting on Monday, I was able to reach that goal everyday except yesterday – but that was my rest day, so I’m ok with that. Does anyone else use MyFitnessPal?

I'm shifting gears today from the Free and Easy Days of Summer down to the Work Days. I have to refocus and decide what to let go and what to keep. Very tricky.

Here's my It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you will stop by!

I have yet to read any of the Larsson books. I don't know what I'm waiting for, lol.

I hope you're enjoying Wolf Hall!!

Have a great week of reading!

They are really good. I've had the last two sitting on my shelf for a while and finally just bit the bullet.

Wolf Hall is great so far. I'm doing the read-a-long, and we've only read Part 1 but I'm going to be starting Part 2 this week.

I didn't do too bad…I started out really strong, but then kind of fizzled out. I'm hoping with the one this week, I can keep strong the whole week.

Thanks…I'm hoping to have a really good week of reading! Those review books seem to pile up faster than my tbr list sometimes.

I was so excited when I got the review copy – I love the Willow Lake series. I, Michael Bennett was pretty good – and it ends with an interesting cliff hanger.
