Booking Through Thursday: Break (3-25-10)

 ((BTT is hosted at http://btt2.wordpress.com))

This week’s question asks:

Do you take breaks while reading a book? Or read it straight through? (And, by breaks, I don’t mean sleeping, eating and going to work; I mean putting it aside for a time while you read something else.)

No, I definitely do not take breaks while reading a book. I find it amazing that some people, like my husband for instance, can read more than one book at a time. I love nothing more than getting truly “lost” in the books I read and I would imagine it would be hard to do if I was reading more than one at a time.

What about you?

One book at a time, and a straight sitting, that's me. Here's mine.

I take breaks for book club reads, during non-fiction and for tour books.

I have managed to read two at a time. I will keep one at home and one at work. I don't have any desire to try more than that. I definately try to read them straight through.

I can't read more than one book at once, although I do listen to the Harry Potter audio books when I'm going to sleep! They don't count though because I've read them so many times that I don't find they interfere with my reading of anything else!
Love your blog by the way – I'm a new follower – come and drop by mine too!

I tend to read one book at a time, but these days I read about 2 or 3. I have my "in bed" book and my "when I'm out" book. Which doesn't get that much attention lol. But I do love getting lost in one book at a time, it makes a much bigger impact that way!
