My thoughts:
This is the 5th book in Mia P. Manansala’s Tita Rosie’s Kitchen Mystery series & it’s such a fun cozy mystery series. One thing I will say besides my typical it’s best to read this in order mantra…this series is also best read on a full stomach! All the talk about food is sure to make you hungry!!!
My favorite aspect of this series, besides the food, has been the character development — this is the number 1 reason why I feel it’s important to read the series in order. In this particular installment, there is a focus on the way the author explored these complicated dynamics of friendship.
This cozy mystery is fun, entertaining and the perfect change of pace after reading some dark, heavy reads.
Audio thoughts:
I was thrilled to see that Danice Cabanela was back to narrate this one. She has been the narrator of the previous books in the series and I love the consistency she brings to each book.
